Keith Richards Attempts Recall For Autobio Rolling Stone Keith Richards has signed up to tell his life story. In a nearly $7 million deal with Little, Brown publishers, the story is expected to hit bookstores by 2010. The fact that Richards remembers anything before lunch and can put pen to paper will make this autobiography a must-read.
The Associated Press is reporting the 64-year old lead guitarist and songwriter will join up with author and longtime friend James Fox to complete the book. One writes while the other rolls. Richards' has already submitted some samples to the publisher and Michael Pietsch of Little, Brown calls them "delicious." Richards' former school chum, Stones co-founder Mick Jagger, was also approached to write his life story but has abandoned the project.
