well, this'is a my review of the R.A.H in an approximative english (I'm Maurice Chevalier....) it's all started when my girlfriend Lulu called me one friday morning saying : "I've got 2 tickets for the R.A.H show!!!!" Lucky girl , I said! Well, ok, let's have a trip to London! Our three sons will stay in France with our parents... So, we take a flight from Poitiers at 2.00PM (the first time for me in an aeroplane...I know, i know...)...Landing 55 minutes later, we taked the bus to Victoria Station...supposed to be 1h15 journey, we arrived at 7.00 PM!!! We were in South Kensington to put all our stuff at the hotel...the woman of the hotel said us that the R.AH is 25 minutes by walk...13 minutes for us because...we ran!!!! we missed the meeting at Queen's arms!!! Fucking hell!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, at this point, I was a little bit sad to miss Erika and all curetrade members...7;30, let's sit in the R.A.H!!! and then, the dream came true : the boys on stage!!! Incredible TIB show...just perfect!!!!even if I'didn't understand what robert said to introduce the songs....afetr The weedy burton, we were thirsty(after 8 hours of travel, you'll understand...)...so, while I'm buying 2 pints of beer, " a reflection" started!!! Fucking hell!!!!!!! I missed the half or "Play for today"!!!! 17 seconds set was also perfect...and when the Faith set started, I even cannot applause: it was so perfect (ok, Simon misses the chorus at the beginning of "the holy hour" and lol missed the keys on "all cats are grey" and Robert forgot how to sing "primary" but wow, so beautiful....and the encores killed me!!! "Splintered in her head " was incredible..."descent" too..and oll of the songs anyway..at, .the fouth encore Lulu and i were dancing!!! it's was her 1st Cure experience..and not the last!!!! I asked to french people if they saw Curetrade members, dreaming to meet all of you...but... We waited up to 1H00 to see the boys at the "stage door"...but they never came...so go back to the hotel...with the head fulll and thinking it was my ever best live experience!!!!! Lulu know now why Iwant to play a Cure track (plainsong) for our wedding in june 2012!

THE CURE LIVE AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL PHOTOS The Cure played a truly stunning live show at the Royal Albert Hall in November. This was the only UK date announced on their Reflections Tour, and a final chance to see them play the first three albums live in their entirety. If you missed out check out some of the great photos that were taken here and here . Universal

NOVEMBER 15th 2011
A PHOTO DOCUMENTARY I am a French freelance graphic designer & photographer living in Paris... I had the chance to "be there" in London, 25 years after my first Cure concert. I was not accredited as a photographer (hopefully for the next tour !), so i just took one camera in my bag, wishing to be able to capture a few pictures for my "souvenirs". Most of these images were taken from my seat (Door 9, Grand tier 34), with a minimal gear : a standart zoom lens (24-105 f/4). Seing them now as a kind of "photographic film" of the concert, i decided not to keep them only for my eyes. Some will say : what the point, it is twenty times the same photo ! But the others will observe with attention the different colors, different moods, different attitudes, all the tiny details that change according to the song they play. This page is dedicated to all the cure fans around the world, the ones who were lucky enough to be there for this unforgettable moment, and all the ones who couldn't do it. This is how a Cure concert looks like, this is how a Cure concert sounds. michaellevystudio.com
